The Jonny Angel Fisheree was held on January 21, 2009 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dick & Joan's Butternut Resort.
There were 191 registered fishermen (up 10 from last year) and the payouts were for the
following categories : walleye, northern, perch, and crappie. First received $100.00;
Second received $75.00 and Third received $50.00,as we paid out 100% of the entrance fee.
The turn-out was huge for this event and the weather cooperated nicely!! The generosity of
the community makes such an event so worth while. The Jonny Angel Foundation has helped
240 families with $84,0000.00 in the past. We at Dick & Joan's Butternut Resort are so proud
of the support this event gets and want to thank all of the friends and business's that donated to
this great event.
